RE: 2nd AC Help

Don't go to camping world...we just moved to Las Vegas went to a camping world in Georgia told them that we were not pre-wired they said no problem if there is a hole in the roof we can do it!!! well they couldn't figure it out so here we are in hot Las Vegas with inside temps 95-99 daily!!TOO HOT, three days after we got here the air conditioner unit went out and only 3 years old and not used much until now. We did put a small window unit in the kitchen but can't tell that it helps much...ood luck and maybe someone will be able to help you

Ok we will be leaving Savannah early July and stopping in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Is I-40 the best route to take from Fort Smith to Las Vegas?

RE: Bad Service at Camping World

I don't recommend Camping World here in Savannah Georgia either!! We bought one of those really Acrylic Awnings with wind sensor...got home rolled it out and has two holes in it!!! I called camping world right then....3weeks ago. They have still not replaced it. I called them today and told them it needs replaced ASAP because we leave here the 16th for a week then we leave on July 5 for Nevada. They have terrible customer service...they couldn't even install a second air conditioner for us after they told us they could

RE: Portable Ice Maker?

We got ours at Home depot, have had it 2 years now and use it everyday. We have it and a small freezer in our storage area under the camper...that way we never have to load or unload them. The ice maker pays for itself...you never have to run out and buy ice

RE: camping lights

We also have a power awning with the wind sensor so we use the rope lights on the ground around the rug...works great

RE: Awning switch question

We just had our Awning replaced..The whole thing and yes there were a couple of holes from the old one but you don't even notice them. We got one of the acrylic with the wind sensor...rolls itself up in high winds. We love it

RE: Let's not forget the reason for Memorial Day

Thanks to all of you for taking the time out of your day to say " Thank You ". It means a lot to my family to see that people know the meaning of Memorial Day. Fly your flag with pride and don't forget those who never made it home. We are a Military Family, husband and son. Our son Spencer is in Iraq for his first tour...it sure is hard when it is one of your babies over there.Just remember to think about all of our Military past and present, sometimes it seems like everyone forgets that this war is still going on and there are still alot of loved ones deployed far away from their families. I to would like to say Thank You to all of our Military past and present

Electric or Propane

We have sold our house a few months before we needed to and have been in the RV 2 months now...electric bill has been 140.00 a month. Is it cheaper to run everything with Propane?
Thanks,
Donna

RE: one night stay between Chattanooga and Nashville

I don't suppose there is anyway you can delay departure for a day or two.
BTW, we stay at the Manchester KOA each year on the way back from Florida to Chicago. Pretty park and friendly people. I wonder if you showed up and they weren't full if you could stay one night? Maybe another phone call would clear that up.
No we can't change our dates and I am one of those that likes to have everything planned and have reservations so we aren't driving all around trying to find somewhere to stay. my husband is active duty and gets home on the 1st and the movers/packers come on the 1st,2nd & 3rd so we really have no other time to leave to make it to Nevada by his report date. I just received a private message from the Manchester KOA and they have agreed to allow us to stay the one night
